Total Solar Eclipse Viewing Event
A total solar eclipse happens when the Moon passes between the Sun and Earth, completely blocking the face of the Sun. The sky will darken as if it were dawn or dusk. For our region, the best viewing time will be at approximately 2pm. Cost is $12 per person. Raven Hill Discovery Center- 4737 Fuller Rd., East Jordan. The Emmet-Charlevoix County Fair is held at the fairgrounds on Charlevoix Avenue, and is a mix of carnival rides, food, exhibits, and more.
